I would like to move my entire Super balances, in accumulation phase, from BT Panorama Super to StarHub Super to take advantage of lower admin costs and better investment options in StarHub. Can this be done ‘In Specie’ to aviod selling and re-buying the same assets, and avioding potential CGT?

I have a BT Panorama Investment account (non-Super) which also looking to move to StarHub, and told this can be done ‘In Specie’. But for the Super accounts, ATO say CGT is payable on gains, so assume ‘In Specie’ is not possible. Is this correct?

Yes - even if in specie transfer is possible, because BT will be treating as a disposal.
