I have been trying to contact the ATO via phone for weeks now to get a linking code for mygov, however they are always in peak demand and unable to take my call.

Is there another way to get a linking code as my tax return needs to be submitted next week.

I am unable to submit my tax return via mygov without a linking code as mygov does not recognise my supporting documents to prove my identity for some reason.

Contacting our individual enquiries team is the only way to get a linking code. We're open 8am to 6pm local time. Early morning and evening are often the best times to contact.
