Does a non resident need to include (in their Australian Tax Return) rental income from a foreign Country? They need to complete an Australian Tax return, as the have interest income from an Australian Bank.

Hi @Taxpayer1,

Nope, you don't! 😊

If you're a foreign resident for tax purposes here in Australia, you don't have to declare any income that's not Australian sourced. 🚫

For bank interest, the bank can withhold a final tax which means you won't include it in your return.
