I have just returned from living in the USA for since 2007. I am trying to complete non lodgment online for all my years out of Australia but for 2007-08 and 2008-09 the following message comes up. Non-lodgment advice cannot be made for the following year/s: 2007-08 PAYG withholding credit exists for this financial year. 2008-09 PAYG withholding credit exists for this financial year. Does anybody know exactly what this means? Can I lodge these retrospectively given they are 16 and 17 years old? Is it possible to lodge old returns like this online. Any help and guidance is appreciated.
