I'm thinking of taking my long service leave at half pay but I'm not sure what amount of super will be paid. I'm a federal employee.

Hey @RockRepeat,

Great question and got to love the half pay option!

It's an easy answer. Long service leave definitely qualifies as OTE and OTE is based on the amount you're paid. So half the pay would calculate to half the super, based on the total amount you get paid for that period.

But in saying that, you also get the chance to double the amount of leave, so when it's finally all taken, you end up getting the full leave pay and full amount of super, eventually. 😎
