Hi,


So following the MyID app update, clearly there's some gremlins in their implementation and have call volumes too big to handle everyone's issues.


I've been trying to pay my bill for days now and today is the due date. I've been using the mygovID app code for years to access ATO, and after now 3 attempts waiting over 2 hours to retry across several days (like the voice message repeats multiple times) it is still "Temporarily locked". I can't get on the phone with anyone as either they aren't accepting calls for this dialogue option, or the ATO robot is telling me I'm calling outside of hours. It's currently 12:46pm on a Thursday.


I understand there's an issue here being investigated, all I'm trying to do is avoid admin fees or whatever else will be slapped on for a late payment - that I can't pay because I can't get in. Any guidance here would be much appreciated

MyID is arguably one of the worse pieces of software the government has implemented, there's so many bugs.


Have you by chance recently gotten a new phone and transferred all your data across? There's a known bug that the app although it appears to have transferred across it really hasnt. You have to delete the app and re-submit all the identity documents again.


Otherwise i think there was recently an update, are you on the latest verison??
