my MyGovId photo wont verify as I dont look the same and have aged on my passport which means I cant verify my TFN because my identity is defined as "not strong enough".
any help please? I tried calling and someone said that i must update my photo but i really need my TFN now

Are you needing the TFN to start a new job?
If your appearance has changed since having the passport photo taken, the face recognition service won't be able to tell it's still 'you'. The account security measures are really strong!
Without the right strength in myID, you'll need to apply using a TFN application form.
But you can still start work while you're waiting for it and mark on the TFN Declaration form that you've applied for it. The employer will withhold tax at the standard rate for 28 days, which should be enough time for the TFN to arrive.
