My husband was first diagnosed with cancer in 2022 he applied for compassionate release of super in 2024 to get some dental work done due to damage from chemo.
His cancer has now returned and this time he wont be able to work and Dr's are starting his TPD paperwork.. can he still claim TPD as he applied for compassionate grounds access less than 12 months ago

Yes, you can apply for TPD even when you have applied on for release of super on compassionate grounds.
