I read the ATO website and confused myself so I'm asking the brains trust if I can withdraw my super. I'm 61 and retired but do not receive any government payments. I receive a modest income stream from a super fund but have a small super fund elsewhere that I'd like to withdraw the money from. Is this possible. Many thanks.

Hi @Blooloon,

Great idea posting, it can definitely be confusing sometimes!

To access your super, you need to meet some specific requirements. These are listed on our super withdrawal options page if you'd like to read more about them.

Since you're already receiving payments from a fund, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to access super from another fund too. I'd recommend getting in touch with the fund you're looking at withdrawing from and discussing your options with them. There shouldn't be any issues, but they'll be able to help run you through what they need to get started.
