Example- If my bonus payable is gross $1000 and the super rate is 10%, should my employer be paying me gross $900 in my bank account and $100 going to the superfund OR gross $1000 in my bank account with $100 going to my superfund?

Hi @Jarryd11,

Super guarantee is always paid as a percentage of your ordinary time earnings.

Regardless of if it's paid on a bonus or regular wages, it's on top of, not taken out of what you're entitled to.

It can depend on your workplace agreements that are in place or awards you work under though.

For example, if you signed a workplace contract and inside that contract it has different rules for paying super, then that's a different story. 😎
