I just logged in to check my carry forward concessional contributions and the first year I paid tax is missing.

I started paying tax in Australia in the 2018-2019 year when I moved here.

I made a concessional contribution in 2023 to use up some of that allowance - 90k.

When I checked my account now to check what my available carry forward was.

I could only see the following years on the drop down menu.

19-20,

20-21

21-22

22-23

23-24

24-25

I.e. 2018-2019 is missing.

So I am missing 25k of carry forward.

How do I rectify this. I would like to make a super contribution asap to and don't want to lose that carry forward.

Alas, but yes.

The carry forward concessional contributions only apply to the last 5 years.

So, as of now it's 2020 - 2025, just like you're seeing on your account.

If you wanted to use the 2019 Financial Year amount left over, you'd have to have done it in 2024 financial year. 👌
