I have Australian PR and intend to surrender PR and leave Australia. Can I claim super when I leave? At what rate will it be taxed?

Hi @pprasoon

You'll need to check your eligibility for Departing Australian Super Payment and see if you meet it. If not, you'll need to meet a condition of release.

If you qualify for DASP your tax rate will depend on if you've ever held a WHM visa. If you received any contributions whilst you had this visa, then the WHM tax rate will be applied to the whole amount. Check out how DASP is taxed.
