Hi, I’m trying to link Centrelink to my myGov account, but I’m being asked to increase my identity strength in myGovID. I’m unable to do this because the only documents I have are my foreign passport and my current visa. I don’t have an Australian driver’s licence, an Australian birth or citizenship certificate, or permanent residency.

Because of this, I’m not sure how to strengthen my identity or what steps to take to be able to verify it properly.

I’m trying to apply for a self-employment program, and to do so, I need either a JSID or a CRN. But I can’t get one of those until I complete the identity process.

Can someone please help me understand how I can do this with my current visa status? Thank you very much in advance!
