we understand that we need to lodge the super guarantee charge statement if we cannot paid superannuation for employees by the due date
we lodged the SG charge statement on 18/05/2025 on BP portal online and paid the amount showed on this lodgement. but then we received letter from ATO regarding for we have not paid the superannuation to our employees by the due date and the SG payment for your employees must be received by their fund, in full , on or before the legal due date on 30/05/2025.
so we lodged on our BP portal online in early June and we found out that there is $0.21 DR in the superannuation guarantee account. we have no idea why there is $0.21 DR in the account as we paid the right amount as showed in the statement. but we still paid it online for this shortfall.
and i got confirmation from my employees few days later, they all received the superannuation and the interest. so my question is do we need to lodge any SG charge statement anymore for these period of superannuation?
