I recently created a new MyGov account (using MyID) due to issues trying to log in to my old one after creating a passkey. I have been able to link a few other services (Medicare, MyHealthRecord, USI) to my new one.

The problem is when I try to link the ATO - first I get a message saying I'm being redirected to identity.gov.au and then another message saying I'm being redirected to Australian Taxation Office Online Services for Individuals, and then I get the error message 'An error has occurred (Error Number:PRX-010)'

I've been using my desktop web browser to access the MyGov website, but I have also tried to link the ATO using the MyGov app on my phone, which returns the error code RFM01

I've seen that a few other people have had this error come up, but I haven't seen a fix - does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @ElleSH,

To be able to link myGov to us, your details have to match exactly. If any details don't match e.g. name, TFN, address etc, it will show up as an error. There are some steps you can take to sort it yourself or you may have to call us.

As for error RFM01, this error is when myGov is having a system issue. Make sure you fully close the browser (not just minimise it) and try again in a little bit or the next day.
