Hi There,


For 2024-2025 Financial year ,I am an Australian citizen and I am working in US from January 6 2025 on a work visa on a salaried position with tax taken out of my salary. I have not worked in Australia in 2024-2025. Do I need to file tax return in Australia?I have always filed tax returns in Australia in preceding financial years with no balances. I know there is a tax treaty between US and Australia. Please advise. Thank you.
