My wife forgot to claim a $50 donation as a deduction in her 2023-24 tax return. Can she claim this donation in her 2024-25 tax return and, if so, how can she do this? In particular, can she use the "Election to spread gift deduction" form?

No, She has to amend here 23-24 tax return and add under donation in mytax. if she used an accountant I think they do the amending but check what they charge as it might not be worth it.
