Hi @gambit9,
Yep - the Non-lodgment advice paper form is the same. You can also tick 'final return' on your last return instead - if you have one left to lodge.
I would like to follow up this question. The non-lodgement form for individuals doesn't appear to have an entry box for company name or ABN/ACN. Does this information not have to be provided for a company non-lodgement advice?
Hi @dtc,
If your company has nothing to report and no losses to carry forward for a particular tax year, I'd recommend either:
- using a registered tax agent to report no income
- phoning us to ask if a non-lodgment can be completed over the phone, or
- lodging the company tax return to report nil income.
If you want to use the non-lodgment advice form, attaching the company TFN should be fine, but it might be quicker to give us a call.
