I am a full-time employee and looking to start a small-scale business as a sole trader. Can I claim business deductions in my individual tax return if I continue to work as an employee and keep running business alongside or i have to wait until business makes enough return to allow business deductions can be claimed?

Eligible business deductions can be claimed once your business has started operating. See below when that occurs

If you make a loss on your business activity then check guidelines on how that is treated.
