To link my ATO account from myGov, I am trying to use my super ABN and account no.

The issue is that the ATO site will not recognise these details.

1. I have tried the online assistant.

2. I have searched the site.

3. I have tried to ring numerous times over weeks, but the calls are 'hung up'.

4. There is no email account.

I cannot do my tax return as a result.

Can someone please help?

I am at my wits end.

Hi @Indikat,


Hmm, if it's not accepting the superannuation ABN and your member account number, I'd first make sure the ABN is correct by searching the super fund lookup tool, as sometimes they have more than one.


If you're using details from a superfund that you've not contributed to in the last 12 months, your fund account may be inactive, which could explain why it's not recognising the details.


You can try using other details when linking your ATO Online Services yourself.
