I was made redundant after the company I work for went into liquidation. I was then re-hired by the same company after 3 weeks (same job, different location) as the company was able to recover from the liquidation. I just received my redundancy payment as well as all of my annual leave balance and super included which added up to a significant amount. My employer is now asking for me to pay the amount back in full. I did sign a new contract when I was re-hired and there's nothing in there that states anything about them being able to ask for this payment back. Just wondering if they are actually legally allowed to ask for the payment back?

This is really a question for Fair Work, its not a taxation issue.
