Hi,


I’m currently on my second WHV (417) in Australia. I gave my old super account for new contributions, but I didn’t know the account was closed. The money went somewhere I can’t access.


  • myGov/ATO app shows no super.
  • Hostplus says to contact the ATO.
  • The ATO hotline only connects to a voice saying I don’t have super/no matches.


How can I locate and claim my lost super? I assume it must be ATO-held, but it doesn’t appear anywhere.

Hi @Jilljulia,

 

If your old super account was closed, your contributions may have been sent to us.


If the funds aren't showing in your myGov, we may not have enough info to match the funds to you. If the contributions were sent in the last 60 days, they might not show up yet.

 

Reach out to your old super fund to confirm the transfer details. They should be able to help locate your super if it's not appearing in myGov or matched to you.

 

If you're still stuck, try calling our superannuation team to assist.
