Can I amend the amount to be released from super? | ATO Community

I have just lodged an application for release of super on compassionate grounds. I initially entered the amount on the quote. Thinking now, I should have request a bit extra to cover if the actual amount is higher than the quote. Can the amount be changed?

No, you can't amend your application after it's submitted. You may need to withdraw your application and submit another.

We would recommend speaking with our superannuation team first though to confirm how best to proceed.
