I have tried to submit the online form for my DASP multiple times on different browsers over the past 2 weeks and am getting an 'fatal error code' . See details below.


I have emailed the ATO but have recieved no response and it is now outside of their reply window.


I am now back in the UK and on month 5 of 6 before my 6 months runs out so I am keen to resolve this asap. I ideally want to avoid a paper form as i understand this will involve requesting a 1194 form and if my super moves to the ATO that will create further admin. Can someone advise me on what best to do next - i'm at a loss of what to do.

If you’re still experiencing this issue, you may need to call us to look into it further. Explain the error you're receiving, give your reference number. This team should be able to help troubleshoot your specific issue.


While you prefer to avoid the paper application, it may be a reliable backup option if the online issues continue. Our Claiming your departing Australia superannuation payment (DASP) online article explains both online and paper application processes.


If your super moves to us after the 6-month period, you can still claim it through the DASP online system or by using the paper form for ATO-held super.
