Hi all, I’ve submitted my GST refund (or BAS) about 10 business days ago, and I’m looking for some clarification of the stage. Currently it shows “processing your refund”. Does this mean it’s good to go and it’s being sent to my nominated account, or does this suggest otherwise?

Thank you!

C

Hiya @Cbettanni,

When your BAS shows the status 'processing your refund', it means we've got the result of your return and are working out your refund amount based on your account balance. This doesn't necessarily mean it's on its way to your bank account yet.

We aim to process BAS refunds as quickly as possible and within 12 days. However, some refunds need manual processing and checking.

Once processed, your refund will be sent to your nominated bank account, which can take up to 5 business days to appear, depending on your financial institution.
