Ive been advised that my ABN name will automatically change once my ATO name has been changed. How long will this take? Thankyou.

Hi @EmH25,
It can take up to 28 days for your name to be updated on our records after we receive your name change form. Once we've updated your record, the ABR details should reflect the change automatically.
You can update your name with us by phone using accepted identity documents, or by post using the Change of details for individuals form with certified ID. The ABR displays current ABN details and should show the updated name once processed.
If you're referring to a business name, this needs to be changed with ASIC and will also automatically update on the ABR once processed.
