Hi @ElleyTehillah - it depends on how you’re trying to access your super early.
The process for getting super early for a medical reason (usually under compassionate grounds) and for a terminal illness is a bit different, so I’ll explain both below.
If you’re applying for early release of your super on compassionate grounds, you need to download the NAT 74927 form. Fill out Section A yourself, and take the form to your doctor or specialist to complete Sections B to F.
If you’re applying because of a terminal illness, you must apply directly through your super fund. If you’re unsure where to get the forms, it’s best to contact your super fund for guidance.
