As a volunteer for a community organisation, my authorisation has expired (as I didn't response the email with 7 days)

I am unable to link back in.

Can I organise a scheduled time for someone to assist me with this?

Hi @PamelaPaynter,

If your authorisation expired because you didn't respond within 7 days, the organisation's principal authority or authorisation administrator needs to create a new authorisation for you in RAM. You can't reactivate an expired authorisation yourself.

When they create the new authorisation, make sure the name they use matches the name in your myID app. You'll then receive 2 emails:

  • an authorisation request with a code to accept in RAM – accept this within 7 days so it doesn't expire
  • a request to complete proof of identity requirements.

If your principal authority has sent the new authorisation request and you still need help, you can phone myID general line, then select option 3, followed by option 1 for RAM enquiries.
