Hello,

I work for an incorporated association in Western Australia that is a registered charity with the ACNC, holds a WA charitable collections licence and has DGR endorsement (item 1).

Is it ok to accept sponsorship and donation funding from busineses in states outside of W.A. and overseas?

I understand that as an incorporated association we can only operate in W.A. but I would like to clarify the acceptance of interstate and international funding.

Thank you

Erin

Hi @everran

To receive funds from different states and territories in Australia, You will need to comply with the fundraising laws in those jurisdictions, including potentially applying for multiple fundraising permits or registrations. You can obtain further information from this link. Also please check with Department of Commerce (Consumer Protection Division) for funding from overseas.
