Good evening. I applied for the FHSS on the 23/04/2021 and got a letter the same day saying it had been completed.

The funds were withdrawn from my super on the 04/05/2021. It's now been 30 BUSINESS days and I've got nothing.

Ive even put in a complaint snd have heard nothing. My super released the funds almost 6 weeks ago.

I keep reading people are left waiting.... why? Does it really take 3 months to transfer between two accounts?

Hi @CarlyB

We can provide you some general reasons that may have explain why it may take longer to receive your FHSS amount;

    • If we ask for more information or evidence of what you have included in your FHSS determination.
    • We need to receive both the money and release authority statement from the super fund.
    • If you have a debt to a commonwealth department such as the ATO or Services Australia, we are requiredto offset that debt and only release any excess funds. These cases can take longer than 15-25 days.
