To whom it may concern,

I sell my manure on the dark web in exchange for apples.

Due to the circumstances imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic I have not been to convert my apples into AUD.

I am worried I will not be able to pay tax Bill.

I expect to be $10,000 payable. Does the Australian Taxation Office accept payments in alternative currencies ie Apples.

If yes, how many apples do I send?

Hi @apple42069

We are happy and appreciate that uncertain times have called for creative trades.

As much as we all love apples, we can only accept Australian dollars.

However, we would love you to contact us if you receive the anticipated bill, that way we can work together to plan how it can be managed.
