Hi @David_7980,

Generally, you'd only need to report when you sell them.

There's an exception if you had the choice of being paid a cash dividend or of being issued shares under a dividend reinvestment plan. If you had the choice then the shares are treated as a dividend and the amount of the dividend is included in your income.

The statement should indicate the share value subject to tax or if you've been issued tax-free bonus shares.
