I have applied for my TFN number online and its generates ATO receipt number but I didn't get my TFN number yet. so how can check my application status online with ATO receipt number? I mailed customer care but they replied there can not find my application through ATO receipt number, they need Application number but at the time of application I got only ATO receipt number. so now what can I do further?

That receipt number is for us to find your application if we need to.
If you've just applied online it can take up to 28 days to receive your TFN in the mail. Until then, there's nothing else to be done on your end.
