Hi,


I have been trying to apply for my super through DASP online portal. Once I have put all my details into the system and pressed next, it started to show the following error.


Apply for departing Australia superannuation payment: error

System problem - Immigration link unavailable

We are unable to establish your eligibility due to a system problem.

Please try again later. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Click 'Exit' to exit the system.


I have tried all the different browsers and internet setting but getting the same error.

Can someone please help me in here.

Hi @kanwal123,


When that error occurs it means our system is having trouble verifying your identity with the Department of Home Affairs. This stops you being able to submit the application due to not being able to confirm your DASP eligibility. Often this can just be the system being a little temperamental and can be solved over time. I recommend trying again at different times to see if the issue is fixed.


If you're unable to submit the application online you'll need to submit a paper application instead. You can also email the DASP team at DASPmail@ato.gov.au if the issue persists. Have a read through our DASP contact section for what you should include in the email.
