I have collected receipts over the financial year and am getting ready to put them together for my accountant. What happens if some of my receipts are damaged or faded?

Hey @Jdub

Great to see you're all over your record keeping and let's face it, paper fades. We have an app that can help!

Our myDeductions tool is free to use and makes it easier and more convenient to keep records of your expenses and income in one place, including photos of your receipts and invoices. To use the myDeductions record-keeping tool, simply download the ATO app to your smart device.

For any already damaged reciepts, I'd recommend getting in contact with your bank for a new copy/evidence of the purchase.

Let me know if you've got any further questions.
