I am trying to link the ATO to myGov but I keep getting the following error codes:

  • This does not match what is held on ATO records (GFAD03)
  • This does not match what is held on ATO records (APS104)

What do each of these error codes mean?

I am getting the second error code for my bank account details but when I have entered them previously they were accepted (I have triple checked and my bank account details are correct)


I have also tried calling the ATO but they say they are too busy to take my call.

So both errors are saying your details don't match -


  • error GFAD03 is because your super details don't match what we have on record for you
  • if you're getting error APS104 when entering your bank details it's because they're also not matching what we have

Its strange if you've used your bank details before and they no longer work. Have you used an agent to lodge for you since? We may have their bank details against your name.


Check to see if you can provide any other info needed to link your myGov to us.

I'm having the same problem. No matter how much I tried, I still can't link. I tried calling them, but they are too busy. So what should I do?
