Hi my previous employer who i worked for from April 2021 to Jan 2022 did not pay my super at all during the entire time afterwards in May 2022 they finally paid all of my super as per what they were obligated to on my payslips after an argument, however if you do not pay the super conitrbutions as required per quarter the employer is suppposed to do an SGC statement and pay the SGC charge which includes a nominal interest compoennt of 10%. However I am quite sure they did notdo a SGC Statement and submitt it to the ATO as I never receveid any noiminal interest that would have been owed due to the late payments.

What is the process for dealing with this and reproting my previous employer I realise you can report your employer using the link https://www.ato.gov.au/calculators-and-tools/report-unpaid-super-contributions-from-my-employer/

But I am unsure as to wether this report can only be made about my current employer, again reieterating it was my PREVIOUS employer that did this, how do I go about reporting my previous employer

Hi @Yash3628,

You can report your previous employer if they have not met their super obligations. The page you have found is perfect.

Use this tool to let us know if your employer has:

  • not paid your super
  • paid your super late
  • paid your super to an incorrect fund.

Depending how long ago the previous employment was. There is another page on other ways to claim unpaid super you may find helpful.
