Hi,

I'm having two issues:


1st issue:

  • Each time I click the ATO link in Mygov, an error message appears.

An error has occurred

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Return to myGov and try again. If the problem continues, contact usLink opens in new window

Error code: server_error


Apparently this is a known issue and I need to call the ATO - I called the ATO today, I was told to call back another time as they are too busy.


2nd issue:

I can't update my address - I have tried to update it and I get this error message.


Is this the reason I can't access the ATO?


Someone help because I really need to access the ATO. thank you

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this!


With the server_error message, unlinking and re-linking with us will often fix the issue. Make sure you have the relevant information to link on hand. Hopefully this works for you. If not, it could be due to a mismatch of information between the ATO and your myGov account.


If you're still having issues with accessing myGov, there is the option to update your address using the change of details for individuals form.

If you're still having issues with accessing myGov, there is the option to update your address using the change of details for individuals form.
