I just logged into the app and myDeductions data is gone. Everything is 0. It was fine yesterday as I was entering some data. I was hoping to complete things and back up soon for the upcoming tax return. I haven't backed up for a while partly due to low storage space so recovering would only be 50%.

Coming from an IT background I see in the ATOTax cache folder there are no files in any of the folders except for Thumbs which are the receipt photos. I could manually add those from Thumbs based on the photos but would be inaccurate as I don't have the accurate foreign currency exchange rates.

I just tried restoring from the old backup and it still says 0. After looking into it further I see a message in the ATOTax folder:

"The contents of this folder will no longer be accessible due to system restrictions introduced in Android R. Remove your personal files from this folder as soon as possible."

I assume this is may be related to the cause of my problems. I'm hoping you can fix this so that I can get at least some of my data recovered and not have to start from scratch. I would probably accidentally miss some items as there were some that I didn't upload a receipt for. It would probably reduce the amount of deductions that I could've made.

Just realised today is July so it I had to switch financial years. I will know next time. Now I need to re-enter data.
