Hi, my tax return this year is considerably lower than previous years. Has anyone else's been really low? I normally get between $1-2K back but this year it was only $352. has there been changes to it all?

It's a shame your refund wasn't as much as previous years.
One of the biggest changes to returns this year is because the Low and Middle Tax Offset (LMITO) ended. This was an additional offest for everyone earning up to $126,000.
There are some other reasons your refund might be lower this year on our website. Hopefully this will shed some light on things.

thanks for the answer, it makes sense. It disappointing though considering the financial struggle we are all in. We need more help not help taken away.
