So I was looking on my tax status on the site and app one said the effective date was 26 July 23 and the estimated date was the the 26th as well

The processed date is the date we finish processing your return and update your tax account.
If you’re entitled to a refund, the effective date is usually the date we send your refund to your financial institution.

So it will depend on my financial institution with the payment then after the effective date has been gone?

Hopefully it's not too far away.
I have gotten 2 sms from the ATO stating that it’s taking them a bit longer to process but I just want a rough time frame when they’d complete it, but I have yet to get through in the phone
