I am an industrial engineer. I worked for Ford Motor Company of Australia Limited from (removed by moderator). I joined the Ford Superannuation & Pension Fund as a requirement of company policy and benefit package for salaried employees. I live in Izmir , Turkey and I do not have my TFN , and I am a citizen of Turkey , I lived in Australia as a temporary citizen.

We can only provide general guidance based on current super systems. Because this was a fund that existed before current super legislation, it may not be available through standard channels.
If it is available, you can claim your super from the Ford Superannuation & Pension Fund even though you live in Turkey and don't have a TFN. As a former temporary resident who worked in Australia, you're eligible to claim your super as a Departing Australia superannuation payment (DASP).
Since you left Australia in 1987, your super may have been transferred to us as unclaimed super money if you didn't claim it within 6 months of departing and your visa expiring. The good news is you can claim your super at any time, regardless of how long ago you left.
To claim your super, you have two options:
You don't need a TFN to make a DASP claim. The payment will be subject to Australian tax before it's paid to you. New Zealand citizens aren't eligible for DASP, but as a Turkish citizen, this doesn't affect you.
To find out where your super is held and start your claim, you can check if we hold your super by contacting us directly. If we hold it, we can help you with the DASP application process. If the Ford fund still holds it, they'll be able to process your claim.
Ford Motor Company of Australia Ltd. closed it`s car manufacturing operations in Australia and the Ford Superannuation and Pension Fund is transferred to Mercer Company . I received this information from inquiry I made with APRA in Canberra. Mercer fund did not reply to 2 written inquires I made other than sending 2 DONOTREPLY headed mails with we are processing written with no other content. I do need your help and guidance with DASP application process.
I tried DASP online application system unfortunately Department of Homeland system did not have my passport and identification . Does this mean that all my entitlement is gone ?
