My ATO account was exposed to fraud activity 2 years when My Gov account was only protected by password and security questions.
Ever since, I have been asked to give ATO a call every time I need to access my account, and it only last for 48 hours. And I was told the account lock cannot be removed unless I get citizenship of Australia.
I find this very annoying. Every time I need to spend at least an hour on the phone + 30 mins waiting time to get through the security checks even though I have set up a security passcode, a voice recognition and provided so many personal identifications, it still takes so long to get my own account unlocked.
I am hoping someone can review my account and make the decision to remove the lock, I have set up all required authentication methods and called ATO for this matter so many times.
