Will this actually cause delay? I really need my TFN as soon as possible. How can I receive my TFN? Is it through online or directly sent to my address?

Hi @adamlevin0,

Lodging a second TFN application can cause delays in processing. We recommend not submitting duplicate applications, as this can slow down the processing of your first application. That being said, because it was 27 days later your original application may have already been processed.

Once we've processed your TFN application, we'll post your TFN to the Australian postal address you provided on your application. We appreciate your patience during the processing period. Your TFN won't be delivered online for standard applications.
