I applied for a Tax File Number at the end of November while in Australia, but the letter has never arrived. I would like to ask if this is a problem or if there is any risk of misuse.

It can take up to 28 days to process a TFN application and mail it to the residential address provided. As it’s now been more than 28 days since we received your completed application, you’ll need to contact us.
