my employer setup my super when i started working, i'm trying to setup online access with the member number they gave me, but the super fund says that number has someone elses email, phone, and security questions/answers attached to it so i cant get access, checked with employer that the number they gave me is correct and they said it is.

i checked the ATO link through MyGov and my super balance says zero.

Is it possible they're paying my super to someone else and can i get it back through the Superfund?

Firstly, you can ask your employer for a copy of the application they submitted to the super fund to check the email and phone written on the form.


Secondly, you will have to contact your superfund and speak to them regarding setting up online access and this issue.


Regarding your super balance being zero in myGov this could be because your superfund has not reported the balance to us yet, when you speak with them you can also ask them directly about your balance.


Check that all out first. If your employer hasn't paid your super you can report it to us.
