Hello!

I've started my DASP process on 06/12/22, got a copy of my Argentinean (only nationality) passport certified by the Australian Embassy in Chile (current residence) on 01/12/22.

The process asked me to send a paper copy to a locked bag in MEL.

Is my certified copy still valid after all this time? Would my DASP application still be valid?

Thanks!

Hi @Lucia09,

With certified documents, there isn't really a date it wouldn't be valid until. As long as it is certified by an approved certifier and the document hasn't expired.

How did you apply for the DASP? If you've sent your documents in and completed the application. If it has been more than 28 days and your super is held with your fund; you would contact your fund to check the progress 😊

Hello! thanks for your answer :)

I´ve been able to contact Hostplus and they say they only take documents that are less than a year old. Should I send it anyways?

Hey @Lucia09,

Does hostplus hold your super or has it been sent to us? If we have it we will process it and advise you once we've finalised it or need further information.
