I have worked in Australia for 2 years and am now looking to withdraw my superannuation funds. However, I do not have the necessary identification documents required to verify my identity and claim my super. Specifically:
- I do not have my original myGov ID that was used to set up my super account
- I do not have a valid Australian passport
- I do not have an Australian birth certificate
- I do not have a valid Australian visa as the passport I used has since expired, so there is no way to match my current identity with visa records
Given I no longer have these standard identification documents generally required to process a super withdrawal, what options do I have? Is there an alternate process I can follow to verify my identity without these documents and successfully withdraw my super that I am entitled to?
