If I have a share portfolio can I move them into a company as assets?

If that is possible what will the tax implications be? CGT? How would it work?

Yes.

Assuming you are not a share trader. that would be a deemed CGT disposal at market value.

Companies do not get the 50% discount for holding more than 12 months,

and do not get refunds if franking credits exceed tax assessed.
