I came to Australia in 2012 as a foreign citizen, got a TFN and left the country 2 years later. 12 years later I return with a different citizenship, my visa is currently linked to the new citizenship and I do not certainly know if there will be a taxation issue due to this situation as I have provided the 2012 TFN I got in the pass to my employer. Also, I have been unable to update my personal details over the phone or postal code. I can not update my details online due to my something in my personal information does not match.

Hey @Diego1989,

No that's not a problem at all once you have a TFN it's yours for life whether you stay or leave Australia. It's great that you kept it or remembered it after so long. :)
